Information on Data Security and Protection

What you can do
To remain anonymous, please use a username and password with which you can later read our reply to your email. Please keep your password and username secure.

You should take precautions to protect your own computer (virus protection, a firewall, etc.) if you choose not to use our server when you submit your inquiry and read our answers, but rather download them to your own computer. Please keep in mind that a normal email, just like a postcard, is potentially accessible to unauthorized persons.

What we do
We comply with the requirements of the applicable legal data protection regulations. The consultation is anonymous. Naturally, only employees who are contractually obliged to maintain full confidentiality have access to the consultation data via their own password.

Our contribution to data security consists of, among other things, SSL data encryption, web-based emailing and the following guarantees from our provider:

  • Our service is carried out with the consulting software from zone35 GmbH & Co. KG (an agency for digital communication) and run on their server. On our behalf, the anonymous data are provided by zone35 in such a way that we can evaluate them statistically without knowing who the individual users are.
  • Every time a user accesses the service, data (“cookies”) are stored in a log file through this process. These data are not personalized; which means we cannot see which user has retrieved which data. This data is then deleted when the connection is terminated.
  • Your IP address, which is assigned to every internet user by their internet provider, is not saved.
  • No data is passed on to third parties.
  • For technical reasons, the transcripts from online chat counseling, including the content from the counseling sessions, are stored in a file under your username, and stamped with the date and time. The IP address of the respective user is not saved.
  • We also archive the consultations anonymously, which means without personal data and solely for professional purposes, for example in order for specially authorized employees to be able to carry out surveys on quality developments.
