Safer sex accident/PEP

Sometimes it happens: condoms can break or slip off. However, this does not automatically mean a major risk – because even then it is highly likely that an HIV infection can still be prevented. There are special HIV medications that prevent the virus from becoming established in the body. This treatment is called post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP). You can find out whether PEP makes sense in your case and where you can get it here: https://www.aidshilfe.de/de/PEP

We are here for you

Our counselors have comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections and regularly undergo further training. Our team includes counselors with different gender identities and sexual orientations. Some of us are HIV-positive ourselves. We are therefore familiar with different living environments. We are not here to judge behavior. It is important to us to support you in making your own decisions about health and sexuality – respectfully, appreciatively and at eye level.
